Independence Foundation, Inc.'s Executive Management Team holds a combined experience of almost 40 years in the human service field. This experiences includes more than 20 years of nursing experience, and 17 years working with community-based developmentally, psychiatrically, and behaviorally challenged youth and adults. The Team's formal education include degrees in Nursing and Law with a specialization of Health Care Law, as well as a graduate degree in Human Services.
Professional experience includes over 20 years of Management experience involving organizational systems analysis and restructuring, policy and procedure development, licensed and unlicensed personnel management, regulatory compliance, and teaching medically-based State-mandated trainings. The Team has serviced on numerous community organizational Boards including the DHMH Mortality Review Committee for the State of Maryland. The Team also holds organizational growth and financial management acumen gained through the development and implementation of Outcome Measurements, Service Plans/Cost sheets/Augmentation, real estate acquistion and the management and monitoring of a 3.5 million dollar budget.
This vast and in-depth experience allows Independence Foundation, Inc. to provide management, implementation and oversight to all organization aspects required for effective, outcome-based, quality rehabilitation services.
