Mission-Independence Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that enhances stability and financial freedom through skill acquisition for children and adults in underserved communities to promote self-determination and independence.
The organization is comprised of 3 different programs. Each program is designed to support qualified individuals at different points in their path to obtain self-determination and independence. Program 1 provides personal skill development through case management support needed for the individual to be functional, progressive and constructive in society. Program 2 provides individuals with marketable employment skills and certifications that will meet employers needs leading to job obtainment and provide a viable and production method for financial independence. Program 3 provides individuals being serviced by Independence Foundation, Inc. with emergency one-time assistance that may be needed to assists through a crisis situation. Individuals must meet the qualifying criteria and show ability to independently sustain themselves after the one-time award is granted.
